There are many Buyers of First and Second Homes that are wondering if Home Prices are going to continue to fall in the next six months.  While No-one has a Crystal Ball, the Primary reason for Buyers to consider a Purchase at this time is the cost of the Property in relation to their Budget. Waiting for the Bottom to fall out with property Prices may result in lower Prices but Higher Interest rates, and that can end up costing more over the Life of a Mortgage.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the National Association of Realtors and the Morgage Bankers Association are all projecting that interest rate will increase over the next several quarters.

Of course the real Bottom Line is the motivation for Purchasing a new or second Home.  Here in the Coachella Vallley, a large part of our Business is Resort Living so our Demographics would differ from a Suburb of a Major City such as LA.  The American Dream is still tied into Home Ownership, despite the record numbers of People who have not been able to achieve that.  This is an Opportunity, especially in the California Desert to own a piece of that Dream.
